Welcome to the Urban Precinct

Wallaceville Estate’s Urban Precinct was the culmination of years of planning and lessons learned to deliver 152 architecturally designed homes, with a focus on simplicity, connectivity, and beauty.

The precinct features a range of housing typologies designed to support a varied community. Each home was carefully considered to maximise natural light, privacy, and efficient use of space, while providing comfortable and energy-efficient living.

The architectural language drew inspiration from Scandinavian design and modernism, with materials selected for durability, low maintenance, and long-term performance. As part of a carefully designed community, the homes were planned not only to look good when first completed, but to age well and continue contributing positively to the neighbourhood for years to come.

Phase Two: Final Release included the addition of 52 townhouses and ten standalone homes. The unique location of these standalone homes along Alexander Road offered larger land areas with excellent solar gain, off-street parking, and generous outdoor living spaces.

Upper Hutt School

Local primary school for students in Years 1 to 6. The school offers an inclusive and caring environment in which students can learn and thrive.

Trentham Memorial Park

5min drive • 45min walk

Upper Hutt is known for its parks and this is the largest, featuring sports grounds, native bush walks and a fantastic new playground.

Heretaunga College

As the closest co-education school in the area, Heretaunga College supports students from Years 9 to 13.

Hutt International Boys School

HIBS is a multi-denominational boys secondary school that accommodates school Years 7 to 13. Its smaller size and friendly approach to learning give young men a safe, secure environment in which to learn.
